iBowSight is the first of its kind. It uses advanced software to transform your iPhone 4 or 4S into a precision bow sight. Your iPhone will transform into a bow sight by attaching to your bows of choice using the firenock bracket system. The beauty of iBowSight is that it is completely customizable, has the ability to record live video and can seamlessly switch between a standard and pendulum sight depending on the angle that the bow is being held. Read on for a detailed feature set.
New Features in 1.1:
Angular range finder: One only needs to enter the height in ft from the archers shoulder to the ground. When activated, the yardage based on the angle the bow is being held and height will be displayed in the middle of the screen directly above the ring. For improved accuracy if the distance is below 20 yards, over a maximum set yardage, or if the water level is tilted beyond the level 1 alert a message will be displayed to the user notifying the archer if the distance is "out of range" or "unreliable". The height of the archers shoulder to the ground as entered will always be displayed on the upper lefthand corner just under the current profile name.
Selection switches have been added to the profile description window to allow the archer to select between single pin and multi pin sight configurations.
Single pin mode allows a single pin set up with side tape arrangements. The side tape allows the archer to adjust the single pin distance by simply sliding a finger along the yellow glow on the far left side of the screen. When sliding a finger, the archer will notice the side tape appears showing each pin with its respective distance. While in single pin mode, the current pin yardage will be displayed on the upper righthand corner. This mode makes calculating pin yardages effortless.
In this version of iBowSight, the following features are available:
1) Sight ring can be size from 0.3” radius to an edge to edge radius of 2.1”
2) Sight ring can have up to 2.6 millions colors of choice
3) Sight ring can be micro-adjusted in an increment of 1/326”
4) Each pin size can be adjusted from 0.012” to 0.240” in radius
5) Each pin can have up to 2.6 millions colors of choice
6) Each pin can have its own shape (choose from 9)
7) One can add up to 7 pins to the sight
8) There is built in digital zoom from 1.0X base on internal optics to 4.0x in an increment of 0.01X
9) 3rd axis adjustment to accommodate the most demanding and complicated sight setup
10) Built in water level for visual bow leveling
11) Sight level confirmation via ring color choices. I.e. One can set the ring color to be green (color A) when leveled and red (color B) when the bow is tilted. Thus one can look at the ring color change instead of the water level to confirm if the bow is leveled.
12) One can have the option to set the sight into an automatic pendulum sight when the bow is dropped below a specified angle. This feature allows the best of both worlds. In pendulum mode, the choice of sight pin shape and color is totally independent from the original pins. However the reference position of the pendulum sight is still based on the 20 yard pin. Therefore setting the pins in use are critical for pendulum operation.
13) More than 20,000 profiles can easily be created and stored for use with different arrows bows, or personal preferences.
